ADOT: Lindsay Road closed at Loop 202 Oct. 16–19; Arizona Avenue off-ramp closure moved to Oct. 23–26
ADOT will close north- and southbound Lindsay Road at Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) from 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, to 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19, for the Loop 202 widening project. The westbound Loop 202 off-ramp to Arizona Avenue is postponed to Oct. 23–26. Related eastbound Loop 202 and Loop 101 off-ramp closures are also set for that later weekend.
The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) advises drivers of closures for work on the Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) widening project.
Lindsay Road this weekend. North- and southbound Lindsay Road will be closed at Loop 202 from 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, to 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19. Detour: Gilbert Road or Val Vista Drive around the closure. ADOT says no freeway mainline closures are scheduled for the weekend of Oct. 16–19.
Postponed Arizona Avenue off-ramp. The closure of the westbound Loop 202 off-ramp to Arizona Avenue has been postponed to Oct. 23–26.
Upcoming Oct. 23–26 closures. Eastbound Loop 202 will be closed between Gilbert and Williams Field roads from 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, to 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26; detours use eastbound Chandler Boulevard/Williams Field Road, or eastbound Germann Road to Higley Road to rejoin eastbound Loop 202. The westbound Loop 101 off-ramp to Arizona Avenue will be closed the same hours; detours use the westbound off-ramps at McQueen or Alma School roads.
Ongoing restrictions. The westbound Loop 202 to northbound Loop 101 (Price Freeway) connecting ramp stays narrowed to one lane through Thursday, Oct. 15. The right lane on southbound Arizona Avenue remains closed between Pecos Road and Loop 202 through Friday, Nov. 6. Work-zone speed limits are reduced to 55 mph.
