The National Weather Service in the San Francisco Bay Area continued a Coastal Flood Advisory for North Bay Interior Valleys until 4 p.m. PDT Wednesday, Oct. 14. The advisory covers bayshore locations along San Pablo Bay that include parts of Sonoma County.
What NWS says: Up to 0.8 ft of inundation above ground level is possible in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways. Flooding of lots, parks and roads is possible, with only isolated road closures expected. High tides can flood coastal trails and cut off access to some low-lying beaches.
What to do: Avoid driving through flooded roads. Stay off flooded trails and shore paths when water is over the path.
