Cold Case Files: Who killed Juan Cuevas? LAPD asks for tips in 2019 Los Angeles homicide

What LAPD says happened: On Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019, around 10:23 p.m., Juan Cuevas was standing in front of a driveway on the 4700 block of Beverly Boulevard in Koreatown when a dark-colored Honda Accord stopped in front of him. A man wearing dark clothing got out of the passenger side, approached Cuevas and shot him. The suspect fled on foot and was later seen on video getting back into the same Honda Accord.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics took Cuevas to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
