Louisville Metro Government forwarded an invitation on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2026, on behalf of an applicant, to a neighborhood informational meeting about a development proposal on Outer Loop in south Louisville.
The proposal. According to the applicant’s letter, The Oasis Living has submitted a Change in Zoning Pre-Application (case 26-ZONEPA-0139) for properties on Outer Loop now zoned R-4 Single Family Residential, seeking R-5A Residential Multi-Family. It plans an assisted living facility in one single-story building with 91 resident units, with enclosed courtyards, landscaped gardens and on-site amenities such as a barber/salon, movie theater and fitness room.
Why the meeting. Louisville Metro says this informational meeting is one the applicant must hold before a formal application can be filed with the Office of Planning.
