Louisville Metro Planning & Design Services published its Inter-Agency Review agenda for Oct. 14, 2026. It lists new applications that city agencies will review and comment on. Notice Nearby picked out some of the notable cases below; the full list is in the city’s report.
Housing and reuse. A pre-application (26-ZONEPA-0139, The Oasis Living) would change zoning from R-4 to R-5A on about 6.5 acres on Outer Loop for a 91-unit assisted living community (Council District 24). Another (26-ZONEPA-0141) would rezone about 0.41 acres on Frankfort Avenue from R-7 to C-2 to reuse the historic Linden Hill House for lodging, a private club, special events and related hospitality (District 4).
Retail. Cases 26-ZONE-0142 and 26-ZONEPA-0140 seek a change from R-4 to C-1 for a grocery store–anchored development at Taylorsville Road and Sweeney Lane (District 20). A district development plan (26-DDP-0056) proposes a convenience store and fuel center on a vacant 1.948-acre parcel at Chamberlain Lane and Maple Brook Drive (District 17).
Industrial and events. A landscape plan (26-LANDSCAPE-0140, Ford KTP – Greenfield Support) covers tree clearing only, with no grading, for employee connectivity and infrastructure tied to an industrial expansion site on Chamberlain Lane (District 17). A temporary activity permit (26-TAP-0006) would allow a four-day circus, Paranormal Cirque, in a parking lot on Outer Loop (District 24).
Other items. The agenda also lists accessory dwelling units, Certificates of Appropriateness in the Cherokee Triangle, Old Louisville, Limerick and Chickasaw preservation districts, landscape and sign waivers, minor plats, sign permits and zoning verification requests.
