Louisville Metro Council this week: Committee on Committees canceled; Committee of the Whole and full Council meet Thursday, Oct. 15, 2026
A revised Louisville Metro Council schedule for Oct. 12–16, 2026, cancels Tuesday’s Committee on Committees. On Thursday, Oct. 15, the Committee of the Whole meets at 5:15 p.m. Eastern and the full Metro Council at 6 p.m. Eastern, both by video teleconference.
The Louisville Metro Council Clerk’s Office sent out a first revised notice of meetings for the week of Oct. 12 to Oct. 16, 2026, on Tuesday, Oct. 13.
Canceled. The Committee on Committees meeting set for Tuesday, Oct. 13, at 4 p.m. Eastern is canceled.
Thursday, Oct. 15. The Committee of the Whole meets at 5:15 p.m. Eastern in the first floor conference room, and the full Metro Council meets at 6 p.m. Eastern. Both are listed as video teleconference meetings. No meetings are scheduled Monday, Wednesday or Friday.
How to watch. For video teleconference meetings, members take part online or from the Council Chambers in Historic City Hall, and the chambers serve as the main place for the public to watch. Agendas. The clerk says each final agenda is posted 24 hours before the meeting at the same link, and the Clerk’s Office will give notice of any other changes.
