Local brief

Curry County and the November 3, 2026 election

Curry County voters use Oregon’s November 3, 2026 calendar. Register by October 13. Ballots start October 14. Drop boxes close at 8 p.m. on Election Day.

The state page opened October 3, 2026 says the registration deadline is October 13 and that counties begin mailing ballots to active voters on October 14. Inactive registrations do not get a ballot until they are fixed. Statewide races are on every ballot, including Governor and U.S. Senator. There are no statewide ballot measures. Party affiliation does not change what is on a general-election ballot. Local lines still depend on the address on the registration.

A mailed ballot must be postmarked by Election Day. The state says a postmarked ballot can arrive up to seven days later and still count, and that the safer mail date is October 27. A drop-box ballot must be in by 8 p.m. on November 3. The drop-box locator is planned about 20 days before Election Day. Sign the return envelope yourself. If the signature does not match, or you forgot to sign, the county sends a challenge. You have 21 days after the election to fix it. Notice Nearby does not register voters and does not certify results.

Curry County’s seat is Gold Beach. The clerk’s elections division is linked from the county site. The Blue Book lists www.currycountyor.gov. A board business meeting at 6 p.m. is not an election deadline. Drop boxes belong on the clerk’s list. Do not copy a Gold Beach street onto this hub. Do not use currycounty.org. That host redirected away from Oregon in this check.
