Deschutes County’s clerk runs drop boxes, the local voters’ pamphlet pieces, and signature checks. Start at the county site, https://www.deschutescounty.gov/, and look for elections. Also use the state page linked below. Do not copy a drop-box address into Notice Nearby unless you open the clerk’s list the day you publish. Boxes move.

The state says a mailed ballot must be postmarked by Election Day and can arrive up to seven days later. A drop-box ballot must be in by 8 p.m. on November 3. Sign the envelope yourself. If the signature does not match, the county sends a challenge, and you have 21 days after the election to fix it.

This hub’s job is to point at those official pages. Notice Nearby does not register voters and does not publish unofficial results as final. The state says final statewide certification is December 10, 2026. County certification dates can be earlier. Use the clerk’s date if it differs.

Deschutes County’s homepage, checked October 3, 2026, points readers to meeting agendas, the board of county commissioners, permits and planning, property search, and property values and assessment. That is the local map. Bend, Redmond, and Sisters post their own city notices. The county page is the unincorporated and countywide door, not every city council.
