Lane County’s clerk runs drop boxes, the local voters’ pamphlet pieces, and signature checks. Start at the county site, https://www.lanecounty.org/, and look for elections. Also use the state page linked below. Do not copy a drop-box address into Notice Nearby unless you open the clerk’s list the day you publish. Boxes move.

The state says a mailed ballot must be postmarked by Election Day and can arrive up to seven days later. A drop-box ballot must be in by 8 p.m. on November 3. Sign the envelope yourself. If the signature does not match, the county sends a challenge, and you have 21 days after the election to fix it.

This hub’s job is to point at those official pages. Notice Nearby does not register voters and does not publish unofficial results as final. The state says final statewide certification is December 10, 2026. County certification dates can be earlier. Use the clerk’s date if it differs.

Lane County’s official site answered at lanecounty.org on October 3, 2026. The homepage is a county portal, not a single agenda. Use it to reach the board, elections, and departments, then open the document that matches your question. Eugene and Springfield run many city hearings themselves. A county page does not replace a city planning notice.
