The Nightmare Factory, which the Oregon Department of Education calls Oregon’s longest-running haunted house, is back at the state-run Oregon School for the Deaf (OSD) in Salem for its 39th season.

It runs on the second, third, fourth and fifth weekends of October 2026. A Sensory Night with a toned-down haunt was set for Friday, Oct. 9.

Money raised goes directly to OSD students and programs. Volunteers, OSD students and staff run the event, and OSD is looking for more volunteers.
