The Oregon Department of Education and Oregon School Boards Association say board members will eat lunch with students across the state during National School Lunch Week, Oct. 12–16, 2026.
Oregon schools mark National School Lunch Week Oct. 12–16, 2026, the Oregon Department of Education (ODE) and the Oregon School Boards Association (OSBA) said Oct. 9.
During the week, school board members around the state will sit down for lunch with students in their own districts to see meal programs first-hand.
By the numbers: Oregon schools served more than 46 million lunches in the 2025–26 school year, and the Student Success Act puts about $125 million toward school meals in the 2025–27 budget.
