Union County’s three commissioners, and where agendas live

Union County’s commissioners page, opened October 3, 2026, says the board has three nonpartisan positions. Positions 1 and 2 are elected in the same cycle, with the page’s examples of 2018 and 2022, and position 3 in the years between. The page names the commissioners as Paul Anderes, Matt Scarfo, and Jake Seavert. It does not, in the lines copied here, assign each person to a position number. NEEDS VERIFY who holds which number before you print a position. Do not guess a chair.

The board shares administration with elected department heads and is still the local decision point for county affairs. Agendas and minutes have their own path on the site, /commissioners/agendaminutes/. That folder was not opened packet by packet. NEEDS VERIFY the next meeting date. The phone on the commissioners page is 541-963-1001. A street was not copied.

Planning meetings are a different list, under the planning department. A planning hearing is not a board session unless the agenda says the board is the hearings body.

The live hub should say La Grande, not “Grande.”
