Washington County board meetings: where the agenda actually is

Washington County, Oregon, posts board agendas on Civic Web. Regular meetings follow a Tuesday pattern, but the posted agenda controls the time. The hub’s October 5 card is not a real hearing.

Washington County keeps Board of Commissioners agendas on Civic Web. The meeting-type page says a regular board meeting is where the board votes. Agendas are posted one week before the meeting date. Work sessions are for discussion. The county asks people who want to comment to wait for a regular meeting. Work-session agendas are posted three business days ahead. Roundtables are where the board plans its priorities.

The standing pattern on that page is hybrid: in person and online. Regular meetings are listed for the first and third Tuesday at 10 a.m., and the fourth Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. The county says the schedule can change and tells you to read the posted agenda for the real date, time, and room. Video of work sessions, board meetings, and roundtables is on the county’s YouTube channel. Testimony sign-up, written testimony, translation requests, and the board rules are linked from the same Civic Web page.

The board is five members. Commissioners also sit as the board of Clean Water Services. A Clean Water Services item can appear on a county day and still be a different board. Read the header before you assume a vote is a county ordinance.

The Notice Nearby hub’s “October 5” calendar card is a publisher placeholder. Do not describe it as a real hearing. Replace it with a link to Civic Web, or with a dated card only after you copy a real agenda line.

Checked Civic Web on October 3, 2026. The meeting-type page states the Tuesday pattern. It did not list a separate October 6 or October 27 line, so those dates are not repeated here.
