Crook County final hearing Oct. 7 on LaBelle Prairie Solar Field

Crook County has set a final hearing on the LaBelle Prairie Solar Field for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026, in the Commissioners Chambers in Sundance. The board will hear spoken comments and read written comments sent in at or before the hearing. The application is linked from the county's public notice page.

Oct. 6: The Board of Crook County Commissioners holds a final hearing at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, on the Bridlewood Subdivision Replat of Lots 1 and 2. The board may approve, approve with conditions, or deny the application and plat.

Oct. 13: The county Land Use Planning and Zoning Commission holds a hearing at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, on the Fencil Industrial Park Subdivision Replat of Lots 9, 10, 11 and 12. Both subdivision hearings are in the commissioners' meeting room at the courthouse in Sundance.

The county also says its financial audit report is open for inspection at the County Clerk's Office, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
