Cast-in-place concrete lining, turnout reconstruction, and a temporary irrigation bypass for 1.8 miles of Gould Canal, Reach 4, from Maple Avenue to the Central Canal siphon. The work includes removal of failed gunite, placement of a 6-inch unreinforced lining on a prepared subgrade, reconstruction of seven farm turnouts with new slide gates, and a 36-inch temporary bypass pipeline on the service road. Work must be complete before the 2027 irrigation season. The District will dewater the reach after the 2026 season. Bidders shall include a water-pollution control plan, a traffic-control plan for Maple Avenue crossings, and a 10% bid bond. A mandatory pre-bid conference is August 20, 2026, at the District yard.
