Replace the failing corrugated-metal culverts under Cervantes Street at Bayou Texar with twin concrete box culverts, reconstruct the approach roadway, and install turbidity barriers and a temporary pedestrian detour. Pre-bid conference April 22, 2025, on site. Certified DBE participation is encouraged. Engineer's estimate $2.84 million. Bid bond 5%. Engineer’s estimate / budget: $2,840,000. Bids will be opened on May 6, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Escambia County Central Office Complex, 221 Palafox Place. Bid documents are available from the awarding authority.
