NWS Mobile, Alabama Flood Warning, updated 7:02 p.m. PT Oct. 9: Blackwater River near Baker. Moderate flooding is forecast. When (NWS): From late tonight to Monday morning. At 6:00 p.m. PT Friday the stage was 1.8 feet. Forecast: The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tonight to a crest of 16.1 feet early Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Monday morning. Flood stage is 11.0 feet. Impacts (NWS): At 11.0 feet, minor flooding of secondary roads and lowlands from the Highway 4 Bridge downstream. At 16.0 feet, some residential flooding occurs downstream from the Highway 4 bridge. In effect until 4:33 a.m. PT Mon Oct 12.
