NWS Jacksonville, Florida Flood Warning, issued 9:08 p.m. PT Oct. 9: North Central Clay County in northeastern Florida... Southwestern Duval County in northeastern Florida... Urban areas and small streams flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. When (NWS): Until 11:15 p.m. PT. At 9:07 p.m. PT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Some locations that will experience flooding include: Jacksonville, Orange Park, Middleburg, Bellair-Meadowbrook Terrace, Normandy, Cecil Field, Ortega, Oakleaf Plantation, Lakeside and Doctors Inlet. Impacts (NWS): Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
