NWS Tallahassee, Florida Flood Warning, issued 6:07 p.m. PT Oct. 9: Ochlockonee River near Bloxham (SR 20). Minor flooding is forecast. When (NWS): From Saturday afternoon to Monday evening. At 5:15 p.m. PT Friday the stage was 14.9 feet. Forecast: The river is expected to rise above flood stage early tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 21.9 feet Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Monday morning. Flood stage is 20.0 feet. Impacts (NWS): At 22.0 feet, Water begins to affect more homes along all of Crooked Road in Leon County. Further downstream in Wakulla County, most of Easy Street South is flooded. Water will encroach on residences at the end of the road. In effect until 5:00 p.m. PT Mon Oct 12. NWS Tallahassee, Florida Flood Warning, updated 6:04 p.m. PT Oct. 9: St. Marks River near Newport On Old Magnolia Rd. Minor flooding is forecast. When (NWS): From Saturday afternoon until further notice. At 5:00 p.m. PT Friday the stage was 7.3 feet. Forecast: The river is expected to rise above flood stage early tomorrow afternoon and continue rising to a crest of 8.7 feet Sunday morning. Flood stage is 8.0 feet. Impacts (NWS): At 8.5 feet, Water approaches the steps to an elevated residence on Old Magnolia Road in Wakulla County. Other elevated structures begin to be surrounded by water. Portions of the Natural Bridge State Park near the river begin to flood in Leon County. In effect until further notice.
