What is happening: At 2:36 p.m. CDT, NWS said a confirmed tornado was located 7 miles northeast of Fort Stockton, moving northeast at 20 mph. Hazard: damaging tornado and quarter-size hail. Source: emergency management confirmed tornado. Impact: flying debris; mobile homes damaged or destroyed; damage to roofs, windows and vehicles; tree damage likely. NWS says this tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of north central Pecos County, including Interstate 10 between mile markers 263 and 264.
