FEMA said Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, that an Incident Management Assistance Team is in Alabama and that search-and-rescue teams and food, water and generators are staged as Hurricane Isaias nears the Gulf Coast.

FEMA said on Oct. 9, 2026, that it has deployed an Incident Management Assistance Team to Alabama to work with state emergency managers and speed up requests for federal help as Hurricane Isaias approaches.
