Leavenworth County, Kansas: All K-92 lanes at 20th Street are open again
KDOT says all K-92 (20th Street) lanes at Spruce Street have reopened. Intersection grading and surfacing work goes on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is expected to be finished in early October 2026.
The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) said in its Kansas City metro update on Monday, Oct. 12, 2026, that all K-92 lanes at 20th Street have reopened to traffic.
The pavement project at K-92 (Spruce Street) and 20th Street, which started June 24, covers grading and resurfacing of the intersection. Crews still work there Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., so expect some activity nearby, and KDOT expects the job to be done in early October.
Leavenworth County had no other KDOT closures on this week’s list.
