What NWS says: Northeast winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph. Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. NWS says a backdoor cold front arriving Thursday night could lead to damaging winds, especially over mountain ridges and west slopes, and travel could be difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles.
