Felix Armando Padron

Felix Armando Padron died in Miami on August 22, 2026. He was sixty-nine. Born there on December 27, 1956, to parents who had come from Cuba by way of a long patience, he grew up in a city that still had produce at the edges and offices in the middle. He learned English at school and a second set of manners at the table. He never treated either language as a costume. He ran a stall at a produce market for most of his adult life.
