George Ellis Fairchild

George Ellis Fairchild died in Des Moines on September 4, 2026. He was seventy-nine. Born on a farm in Polk County on December 19, 1946, he learned a belt before he learned a classroom. School kept him until he could be useful. The plant kept him after that.
