Mildred Joy Cruzado, 97, of Montgomery, died on October 30, 2025. Born in Montgomery on January 11, 1928, into a Barbadian-American household that treated work as a language. She learned early that a day is something you finish, not something you wait for. She ran mail that kept offices from inventing delay theater.
