What this means

In Kansas counties, the planning commission typically holds the hearing and makes a recommendation, and the county commission makes the final zoning decision. Rezonings from agriculture to three-acre residential lots change what can be built and how the land is taxed and served. The agenda links supporting documents for each application. The draft minutes of the September 17, 2026 meeting are also posted.

Next meeting

The agenda lists the next Planning Commission public hearing for November 19, 2026, at 6:30 p.m.
