Missouri: Gov. Kehoe names six people to state and regional boards (Oct. 9, 2026)
Missouri Gov. Mike Kehoe announced six appointments on Oct. 9, 2026: new members for the Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, the Regional Convention and Visitors Commission, the State Technical College Board of Regents and the State Rehabilitation Council, plus reappointments to the St. Louis County Board of Election Commissioners and the Statewide Independent Living Council. Appointees come from Sullivan, St. Louis County, St. Louis, Dexter, Crestwood and Crocker.

Missouri Gov. Mike Kehoe’s office announced six appointments to state and regional boards and commissions on Friday, Oct. 9, 2026. Four are new appointments and two are reappointments.
Several of the seats deal with disability services and independent living. Others cover elections in St. Louis County, tourism and convention business in the St. Louis region, and the governing board of State Technical College of Missouri in Linn.

The six appointments
- Aaron Delbruegge of Sullivan — appointed to the Missouri Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Delbruegge is an effective practice specialist in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program at the Special School District of St. Louis County and a former adjunct professor at Southwestern Illinois College. He has worked with the Missouri Association for the Deaf, the National Association of the Deaf and Catholic Deaf Ministry in St. Louis, and holds a hotel management degree from Rochester Institute of Technology. - Marsha Haefner of St. Louis County — reappointed to the St. Louis County Board of Election Commissioners. Haefner is the former president of Haefner’s Farm & Greenhouses and a former state representative for the 95th District, serving until 2018. - Leah Harris of St. Louis — appointed to the Regional Convention and Visitors Commission. - Robert Land of Dexter — appointed to the State Technical College of Missouri Board of Regents. Land retired after 28 years as vice president of risk management and training at the Association of Missouri Electric Cooperatives. He is a Certified Loss Control Professional, sits on the State Technical College of Missouri Foundation Board and graduated from Southeast Missouri State University.
