Nye County Courts Security Project in Pahrump: Sealed Bids Due 2 p.m. Oct. 15
Nye County is taking sealed bids for RFP No. 2026-09, the Nye County Courts Security Enhancement project in Pahrump. The work includes tearing down an existing structure, repaving between the new jail and Basin Avenue, new fencing with two power gates and a walk gate behind the courthouse, jury boxes, and bullet-resistant walls in the Justice Court reception area. Bids are due and opened at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, 2026.

The Nye County Board of Commissioners is taking proposals for the Nye County Courts Security Enhancement project in Pahrump. It is Request for Response No. 2026-09, also listed as PWP-NY-2027-025.
The project would make the court area safer. It includes demolishing an existing structure on East Basin Avenue, site work and repaving between the new jail and Basin Avenue, fencing to match the jail, two power gates and a walk-through gate at the rear of the courthouse, new jury boxes, and bullet-proofing the walls of the Justice Court reception area.
