The only clock
NASA’s commercial-crew and station blogs, dated September 22, 2026, target 11:10 a.m. EDT Thursday, October 1, as the earliest launch opportunity for Crew-13 from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex lists the same NET on its launch calendar. If weather or hardware slips the minute, the new notice replaces this clock. This paper will not invent the spare date.
A pre-launch news conference is listed for Wednesday, September 30, 2:30 p.m. at Kennedy. Docking is planned about nine hours after liftoff, around 8 p.m. Eastern, at Harmony’s forward port. Those are other files.
Why an executive-branch pad sits in a county
NASA is an executive-branch agency. The pad is on a Space Force station. The county under both is Brevard, Florida, FIPS 12009. A hallway sheet in that county may carry this hour because the hour is public. The sheet remains register traffic. It does not enroll a scanner in Expedition 75.
Today, September 26, the crew landed at Kennedy’s Shuttle Landing Facility after flying from Johnson. That arrival is already a past minute. Thursday’s posted liftoff is the clock this paper dates.
NET is not a guarantee
No-earlier-than is the honest verb. An August oxidizer leak on this Dragon already moved an earlier target off the table. A scrub is a new notice, not a scandal this register is hired to score. Watch NASA’s stream. Read the blog after T-0. Do not treat a hold as a verdict on the agency.
What this paper will not do
