A small, veteran-owned builder got a $1,341,500 VA job to swap out a heat exchanger at a VA hospital in Nevada.

The company is Sergents Mechanical Systems Inc. The Department of Veterans Affairs signed the order on Sept. 18, 2025. The work runs from Sept. 29, 2025, to Dec. 1, 2026. The job is to replace the heat exchanger in Building 12. That is VA project 654-25-030.

Only one company sent in a bid. That one bid won. Sergents is listed as a small business. It is also listed as a service-disabled veteran-owned firm and a HUBZone firm.
