Meta Names Dhruv Vohra to Lead Southeast Asia Business

Dhruv will lead Meta’s commercial strategy across Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, reporting to Benjamin Joe, Vice President for Asia Pacific. He will lead the teams that partner with the region’s advertisers and agencies, helping businesses of every size innovate with AI and accelerate growth through Meta’s family of apps. He will also work to deepen Meta’s partnerships across the region. “Southeast Asia is one of Meta’s fastest-growing business regions, and the work ahead is helping businesses leverage AI and messaging at the pace their customers already expect,” said Benjamin Joe. “Dhruv has spent seven years close to those businesses, and he has built the teams that support millions of them. He is the right person for this next phase.” About Dhruv: Dhruv brings seven years at Meta and deep experience across e-commerce, digital business, and commercial leadership in Asia Pacific. He joined Meta in 2019 as Director for e-commerce and digital natives, working with the platforms that reshaped how the region shops. He went on to lead small and medium business growth in Southeast Asia, before expanding that remit to lead the SMB Group across all of Asia Pacific. He now returns to the region where he started. Dhruv is a recognised voice on the region’s digital economy. He is the author of a regular LinkedIn newsletter, Small to Scale: Inside APAC’s Innovative SMBs , chronicling how businesses have transformed the way they sell, and was a key contributor to the SYNC Southeast Asia thought leadership series on the digital consumer landscape and e-commerce trends across the region.
