NVIDIA Lands in Europe for GTC Berlin

The Palacio de Pedralbes sits at the edge of Barcelona on land that once belonged to the Spanish royal family. On Tuesday morning, it belonged to builders. NVIDIA's Build-a-Claw brought together hundreds of developers, researchers and AI enthusiasts from across Spain and Europe for a morning of hands-on AI at the historic site. Using open models and NVIDIA's platform, participants built robotic claw machines capable of picking up objects — physical AI, made from scratch, in a few hours. The crowd was rapt as it watched robotic arms perform grasping tasks, learn from their own failures and improve over  the span of time it takes to eat breakfast. For the crowd on hand it was an example of how to build and train robots using open models not just quickly, but safely and securely something Spain's developer community is embracing.
