Georgia EPD takes comments through Nov. 13 on air permits for nine facilities, from a Talbot County quarry to an Augusta University generator
The Georgia Environmental Protection Division's weekly public notice (PA1026-2) lists four air permit applications under review, one draft Title V permit renewal and four proposed synthetic minor permits in nine counties: Berrien, Polk, Pulaski, Quitman, Jackson, Clayton, Paulding, Richmond and Talbot. Comments on all nine are due by 4:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, 2026.
The Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) Air Protection Branch issued its public advisory and public notice for the week of Oct. 12, 2026 (PA1026-2) on Oct. 14. Send written comments by email to Air-Permits.Comments@dnr.ga.gov with "Air permit application" in the subject line, or by mail to the Air Permit Manager at EPD's Air Protection Branch in Atlanta. For the draft Title V and synthetic minor permits, a request for a public hearing must be made before the deadline and should explain, in as much detail as possible, which part of the Georgia or federal air rules may not have been adequately addressed. If a comment period ends on a weekend or holiday, EPD accepts comments until close of business the next working day.
