What buyers should know
The notice says the property is sold "AS IS," "WHERE IS", without warranties beyond any title warranties in the deed of trust. If the sale is set aside, the buyer only gets the money back. Buyers must meet Treasury FinCEN reporting rules before a deed issues. Sales are often canceled or postponed when a loan is brought current, so check with the trustee's office before sale day.
