Randall Chesler has led Glacier Bancorp from Kalispell since 2017

Glacier Bancorp’s definitive proxy statement filed March 12, 2026 lists Randall M. Chesler as director, president, and chief executive officer. The proxy says that beginning January 1, 2017, he has served as president and CEO of Glacier and Glacier Bank. It says he has more than 40 years of experience in financial services and that, prior to joining Glacier in 2015, he served as president of CIT Bank, the Salt Lake City-based banking subsidiary of CIT Group.

The proxy says that during ten years with CIT he held posts including president of small business lending and president of consumer finance, and that before CIT he held leadership positions with Size Technologies, Associates First Capital, Visa, and Citibank. It says he serves on the boards of the Glacier National Park Conservancy, the Montana High Tech Alliance, and the Pacific Coast Banking School, is a past chair of the Mid-Size Bank Coalition of America, and represents the Ninth District of the Federal Reserve on the Federal Advisory Council.
