Shelley McArthur is the majority owner of NTL Industries in Sterling Heights

NTL Industries’ about page says the company was founded in 2017 and first operated out of the owner’s garage. It says Greg McArthur, with 20 years in CNC machining and manufacturing, went into business for himself, and that his wife, Shelley, helped from the start, left a job in the medical field, and joined full-time. The page says Shelley is now the majority owner and that NTL Industries is certified by the SBA as a woman-owned small business.

The same page says the company outgrew a 3,000-square-foot suite and operates a 13,200-square-foot manufacturing facility in Sterling Heights, Michigan, at 6592 Arrow Drive. It says the shop’s work includes CNC milling, CNC turning, complex machining, prototyping, and repeat production, for industries including defense, aerospace, automation, motorsports, agriculture, and industrial manufacturing. The page says the company was named the national 2025 SBA Small Business Persons of the Year.

The company site spells her name Shelley. The SBA observances table spells it Shelly.
