Jeff Strom became Boise Cascade’s chief executive in March 2026

Boise Cascade’s Form 8-K filed December 4, 2025 says that on December 1, 2025, the board elected Jeff Strom chief executive officer effective March 3, 2026. The filing says Nate Jorgensen notified the company of his retirement as CEO effective March 2, 2026, and would continue as a director. It says Strom became chief operating officer in January 2025, was executive vice president of the Building Materials Distribution business from March 2021 to January 2025, and was vice president and general manager for the Eastern Region from January 2020 through March 2021. The filing says he received a bachelor’s degree in management from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

The Form 8-K gives the principal executive offices as 1111 West Jefferson Street, Suite 300, Boise, Idaho 83702-5389. The company’s board page says Strom was elected a director in April 2026 and is chief executive officer. That page says he joined the company in 2006, and that before being named CEO in March 2026 he was chief operating officer responsible for the Wood Products and Building Materials Distribution divisions.

The board page says he also serves on the board of trustees for Treasure Valley Habitat for Humanity, and that he has nearly 35 years of industry experience in distribution and manufacturing. The same page lists Nate Jorgensen as board chair and says that, before retiring in 2026, Jorgensen was chief executive from 2020 to 2026.
