Eight product recalls: swing seats, DR trimmer mowers, dressers, a gravel bike and a baby bath seat (Oct. 9, 2026)
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced eight recalls on Oct. 9, 2026, led by about 110,550 PACEARTH swing seats that can break and about 42,860 DR Pilot and Premier trimmer mowers that can catch fire. Also recalled: Romorgniz dressers, Van Rysel GRVL AF bikes, ONTHEWEI baby bath seats, Snow Peak fireplace lava rocks, Avengers magnet medals and Giant LED bike-lock keys.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) posted eight new recalls on Friday, Oct. 9, 2026. Together they cover more than 172,000 products sold in the United States. Three of them involve products for children or babies, and three involve products that fail a mandatory federal safety standard.
If you own one of these products, stop using it now. Most of the companies are offering a full refund; DR Power Equipment is offering a free repair, and Decathlon is offering a free bike inspection and repair at REI.

- PACEARTH swing seats — About 110,550 units. Seats, carabiners, quick links or straps can break and drop the rider. Stop using them and contact Pacearth Direct for a full refund. - DR Pilot and Premier trimmer mowers — About 42,860 (plus about 340 in Canada) units. Grass and debris can build up inside and catch fire. - Romorgniz six-drawer dressers — About 12,078 units. Unstable unless anchored to a wall; can tip over and trap a child. Fails the federal clothing storage unit standard. - Van Rysel GRVL AF gravel bicycles — About 1,150 units. The front lock nut can loosen and let the front wheel come loose, causing a crash.
