Bull Fire North of Verdi: Evacuation Zones Still Up in Washoe County

The Bull Fire north of Verdi in Washoe County, Nevada, has burned about 1,529 acres and is about 40 percent contained as of Oct. 4, 2026. Washoe County still has Go Now and Get Ready evacuation zones. Check the county perimeter map and leave if your zone is red. Crews are working to keep the fire north of Verdi, Somersett, and Mogul. The cause is human and is under investigation.
